Chocolate Decorations
To make thin easy to eat chocolate decorations, prepare as follows:
- Sheet of wax paper fixed so it cannot move whilst you are working on it. To trace a prepared design, place it under the wax paper.
- Melt some buttons (white, dark or milk). Make sure chocolate is very warm but not too hot.
- Add a small amount to piping bag and squeeze so chocolate works its way to the tip. You will have to work very quickly before the chocolate sets especially with white.
- Gently squeeze and trace your design or pipe freehand squiggles, hearts, stars, butterflies, flowers and other shapes or patterns.
- Allow to set on the wax paper for 10 minutes
- Gently slide a knife under the chocolate and lift off
- Decorate your chocolates and desserts

To make the chocolate thicker, add 3 drops of glycerine per 150g of buttons, and pipe as above.
Moulds are available for these dessert cups, see in our online store category for dessert cups and bowls
